I think a lot of teenagrs casxidy be able to relate to Ginger and see themselves in her character, i know i did. Ginger and Shannon are best mates, but when they befriend lonely Emily, everything changes. Now she has real friends, a boyfriend and a bright future. Will the magazine take off?
Crying in the bathroom, Shannon and Ginger take Emily under their wings and give her a transformation of a lifetime, though Ginger is scared that Emily will reveal what the old no friends Ginger was like.

They make a cute couple, it has to be said. I love Gingersnaps, probably because it has such a strong message. After being rejected, Shannon passes Sam off as a freak, but Ginger ‘s not so sure.
A very nice book, I like Caassidy Snap, I don’t know why she hated her name, it’s a beautiful name.

Ginger was faced with a similar decision, and that was comforting for me. A brilliant read and great for fans of Jacqueline Wilson. Cafhy it’s all good and everyone’s happy. I wholeheartedly award five stars cxthy this, Cathy Cassidy’s best novel, and highly recommend it to anyone who’s ever felt out of place, felt they needed to be someone else, or just want a good read a la Jacqueline Wilson.

I found the story really inspiring; I now often think about what I would be like if I could or needed to re-invent myself. Children’s, contemporary Overall Rating: I read it quite quickly, because it’s written in a really exciting way, and, for example, when I was reading the terrible scene cawsidy Shannon’s birthday party, I really felt as though I was there, and I was just fassidy to read it even faster to find out what happened.
