The book had techniques in climbing just not the kind I was thinking of. However, if you take some time with the ideas and let them sink adno, you may be very surprised and grateful for what you find.
This was my first cl Excellent book. I picked up this book expecting climbing technique, and was surprised to find that it is much more closely tied to mindfulness and can be applied to any situation involving risk and action–that is to say, life. All around you at the crag and perhaps in your own mindyou’ll suddenly hear voices wailing about how hard and impossible it all is, and how they wish the climb or the climber were different.
