Jory has been writing since childhood and has never outgrown being a daydreamer. She is estranged from the jofy that raised her, except for the occasional work with her brother.

Two men enter her life. Their tenderness and care for her made them some amazing leading men.

When she’s not hunched over her computer, lost in the muse and conjuring up new heroes and heroines, she can usually be found reading, riding her horses, or hiking with her dogs.

Jan 17, Jennifer rated it it was amazing. I want the story! Both Cathal and Eamon were alpha males with strong personalities and yet they didn’t fight for Etain’s exclusivity. Jul 12, Sheila White rated it it was amazing Shelves: I love the characters and will read the next book praying for more clear cut answers but I kept being kory out of the story to re-read and try to figure out what was happening.

Changeling elf but unaware of mgaic, at odds with her police captain father and FBI agent brother, magic and gift have put her in the path of two compelling men. Also, given that she’s experienced and has had more time with Cathal, I feel her bond is greater. The I have mixed feelings about this book. The dress fell away easily, becoming a inkes pool of dark blue at her feet and leaving her in heels alone.

So, in my last review, I stressed how much the story was lacking in plot holes and character development as well as background information. Changeling elf but unaware of it, at odds with her police captain father and FBI agent brother, magic and gift have put her in the path of two compelling men.

Inked Destiny (Inked Magic, #2) by Jory Strong

There is definitely potential here, I really liked the first book and where it was going and I liked the bit of plot we were given in book two. They come alive upon the sttong and their worries and lust easily recognizable as a burning desire and whirling emotion. Etain wanted to prove she didn’t need anybody and actually put herself in deeper trouble than she needed, because you know talking to the man that’s been an elf his entire life, that might not make sense.

Jun 24, Michelle Abramson rated it it was ok. The tattoos on her hands proclaim her a soul searerwhich is a very rare gift among his people.

Other books in the series. It also started off referring to the day of the abduction as two days earlier, one day earlier, then just earlier that So, I won this autographed book from good reads, yeah! He pressed kisses along her neck. But a quest for justice is more than it seems, leaving their future to hinge on choice and magic. I am generally annoyed when I see a love triangle in a book and the heroine hovering between the two men without being able to choose, that’s why I find the resolution here interesting.

Which bummed since I preferred him over the other.

Eamon especially, he slowly reveals the truth about Etain’s magic and his purposes for her. Mqgic a bad thing necessarily, just surprising. I now must go hunting. Somehow Etain manages to have her way with them without making the seem any less masculine. I really liked the premise of this one. I have a feeling we are about to enter much more into the Elfin world and it will be interesting to see how it all plays out. Yet, she is also drawn to Cathal Dunne.

Given that, I chose to ignore the lack of an explanation with a sequel. One of the men is willing to share her. B or 4 stars Just a few quick comments Bad boy Cathal and gorgeous elf lord Eamon are on my Christmas list this year! I wanted to love this book so bad.

This ‘2nd Part’ didn’t even give it justice, it was rushed and lagged at the same time, left you wanting to hit the leading female and ask questions that you were promised to get answered but in the end got nothing. Leave a Reply Cancel reply Enter your comment here I found this book started out decent but got boring towards the end. Cathal might be human but he is warrior strong but plagued by doubts fueled by half I want more! Etain sees them separately for most of the story.

Cathal is no better, because he hired a private investigator as well. Not sure if I will continue this series. I think knowing that this was the first in a series would have altered my perception of the ending.
