The G-Series is more of a budget line effort from JBL (for those that couldn’t afford the SR series). I had, at one time, The G subs (loaded. No Cracks, very clean. Ready to use $ or Best Offer for the pair. Can be delivered in a 50 miles of Huntington Beach. Brand New Genuine JBL MR, g, G Corner. These are the 90° corners. They work for many different models but you might want to replace the entire.

I have the old catalogues and that woofer should be the GA I did check the Sensitivity and they are dB which is pretty good. Be aboslutely sure that v732 still support the speakers, and that reconing won’t cost more than the speaker is worth if needed.

The HF horns were blown in the ones I reworked and either replacement diaphragms were seemingly stupid expensive for what they jbbl or made g72 of unobtainium. If you’re playing your tunes for a bunch of people in a club or at a wedding the g series is fine.
The time now is They sounded pretty good, I didn’t get a chance to crank them much nor did I want to since the receiver was underpowered. It also seems like the handles were pretty cheesy and the plastic corners broke easily. Anyway, if they are sound Before the Devil Knows you’re Dead!
It seems like the model number was crudely stenciled on looks like a potato stamp in black ink. jnl

I could put them to use for my band’s practice space and potentially smaller shows, although I think we would still use jl EV stuff for the smaller shows.
G Speakers Greetings from Houston folks. I had a pair I bought new in for my keyboard rig. Really, only 30 watts for those monster of a speakers? I plan on using them for my mains in my living room.

The speakers look to be orginal, which is not surprising since the guy who owned them hardly used them. They are below the Caberets.

All I meant was that I didn’t want to crank the receiver so the the power amp was breaking up and potentially blow the speakers. I had a pair of Klipsch Forte IIs, they sounded ok but I didn’t like that whole passive radiator thing. He’s not even advertising hbl for sale, thankfully. I’ve never heard them. They turned out to be a pretty clean set of gray G’s. I am generally cautious in both cases.
Anyone know what these speakers are worth and if they are any good. Then he mentioned that he had some old JBL’s that he was thinking of getting rid of. Is there a “smilie” for blowing smoke?
JBL G-732 Full Range Speakers (( PAIR ))
I’ve heard that the Cabaret series rocks as does the SR series. I popped off the back jack plates and checked the speaker, I couldn’t see the numbers on the magnet easily.
I’ve owned all kinds of speakers and in my older age I’ve gravitated towards the PA sound. We used to replace blown Es with Gauss ‘s then I tried them out today, but just with mbl standard stereo receiver.
Seven different models in the Performance series line that had similar power ratings to the Es and such of the day, used in the previous Cabaret Line. You can always buy better woofers cheap, JBL always built a reasonably nice box. I would prefer a 3 way speaker that has a horn tweeter, horn midrange, and a 18″ woofer.
